“I Don’t Want To Be Skinny” Mindy Kaling Talks Body Image In Her Vogue Interview

She featured as our Girl Crush last week and Mindy Kaling continues to win us over with her amazing attitude to life this week in her Vogue interview. The star spoke to the magazine about her body image and how she feels about her body image. Really, she's just not that stressed about it. Kaling says, “There’s a whole list of things I would probably change about myself. For example, I’m always trying to lose fifteen pounds. But I never need to be skinny. I don’t want to be skinny. I’m constantly in a state of self-improvement but I don’t beat myself up over it.” The Mindy Project actress also gave some info about what kind of clothes she wears with her fluctuating size: “When I’m at my thinnest, I tend to wear things that don’t show off my body. But when I’m bigger, I’ll go body-con, which comes from a place of ‘This is my perimeter, in case you were wondering if I was actually much bigger.’ ” Finishing brilliantly, Mindy claimed: “It’s really tempting not to take chances.
