Irish designer Emma Manley got married and her dress is incredible

Cathy Donohue

Absolutely stunning.

If you’re up to speed with the Irish fashion industry, you’ll know the name Emma Manley well.

We have featured the designer on site a couple of times and in the process found out what a gorgeous, an immensely talented gal, she is.

Emma’s stylish yet edgy designs have proved very popular and the Dublin native made her first foray into bridalwear when she created Aoibhín Garrihy’s bespoke wedding gown.

It’s no surprise then that Emma’s own wedding dress was the source of great excitement and there was much anticipation about what type she would go for.

As you’ll see below she opted for a short dress with a sheer overlay and oh my God, the overall effect is breath-taking altogether.

Rather than a veil, Emma chose an intricate silver headpiece and as you’ll see below both her and new husband, Eoin Ó Suilleabhain are head over heels in love.

When we previously interviewed Emma, she told us of how she interned with Alexander McQueen where she discovered her love for embellishment.

As you’ll see below, the embellishment theme features in the dresses of the bridesmaids and flower girls too.

Actress Aoibhín attended Emma’s wedding and her yellow trouser suit from River Island was the perfect outfit for a summer wedding on a weekend where the weather could not make its mind up.

Wedding bound ?????
