Kardashian’s Aren’t Klassy Enough For Kate – The Duchess Rejects Kim’s Style Advice

If reports are to be believed, curvaceous Kim decided to gift the duchess with several pieces from the Kardashain Kollection (the clothing range she has designed with sisters Kourtney and Khloe) which has been flying off the rails of Dorothy Perkins stores.

But, embarrassingly for Kim, the duchess politely refused the gift of several dresses, blouses and jackets and sent the substantial package back to the star.

Kate is famed for her down-to-earth approach to fashion and although she has sported some stunning creations from the likes of Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley in the past, she insists on paying for everything full-price and also shuns the help of stylists and make-up artists, even doing her own make-up on the morning of her wedding to William.

And although Kate loves to mix high-street with her designer buys, the Kardashian Kollection which features lots of leopard print, sequins and thigh skimming shorts is so far removed from what Kate usually wears that we’re not surprised she politely declined the offer to wear the garments.

Speaking to The Examiner, a palace insider said “Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket.” Miaow!

However, an official spokesperson for the duchess has told Mail Online “In general terms, the policy of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is not to accept any unsolicited gifts unless the sender is known personally to His or Her Royal Highness. Any such gifts are returned to the sender with thanks and an explanation of Their Royal Highnesses' policy.”

Looks like Kim’s going to have to try a little harder to infiltrate the royal circle!
