Is this the most pampered pet ever? Well, given the fact that she has three maids looking after her, regularly plays with an iPad and has a doting daddy, we’re inclined to say yes.

The Irish Independent reports that Karl Lagerfeld, the Chanel designer, has given an entirely new meaning to the phrase ‘pampered pet.’

His little cat, affectionately known as ‘Choupette,’ has become one of the most intriguing animal stars in the world, ever since the designer let slip that his little feline has her own iPad.

“Now, Choupette really is famous. She has become the most famous cat in the world. I even get propositioned by pet food companies and things like that but it’s out of the question. I’m commercial. She’s not. She’s spoiled to death. Obviously,” said Karl, speaking about his famous feline.

“Choupette travels to St Tropez on my private jet in the cockpit, with the pilot, she loves looking at the sky. She has a health check every ten days but I don’t take her. I don’t want her to be furious with me. Choupette waits for me at the front door. She doesn’t like being alone. She gets moody,” said Karl, speaking in a recent interview.

Aside from spoiling his cat, Karl also revealed that he has “three personalities” which represent each of his design brands: Fendi, Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.

“The brands are a reflection of me as a person and the others are more like an interpretation of a style. It’s never mixed. Fendi never looks like Chanel, Chanel never looks like Karl Lagerfeld. I don’t know how I’ve managed it,” Karl explained.

“I think I have no personality but in fact I have three. You see a silhouette. There’s nothing else to see. I remember a photographer saying to me, ‘I have to spend three days with you to know what’s behind the image.’ I said, ‘You’re wasting your time; there’s nothing there,’” Karl added.
