Kate Middleton is clearly getting in the festive spirit ahead of time for today she's wearing the perfect Christmas outfit. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today hosted a Christmas party at Kensington Palace for the families of military serving in Cyprus during the annual December holiday. It was all very festive with a snow machine which definitely amused the royal couple as you'll see from the below snaps. Children attending the party were able to decorate snow globes and stockings while also making Christmas crackers and decorations for the festive season. According to Hello! magazine, there was a photo booth and a post box at the party too so that families could send letters, photos and messages to their loved ones who will be away at this time of year. A lovely idea, we think you'll agree. Kate dressed in accordance with the occasion, choosing a tartan Emilia Wickstead skirt which she paired with a black button-up cardigan and black boot, the perfect Christmas outfit. This skirt definitely makes a statement and while it won't be to everyone's taste, it's definitely a look that fits well with the event. They are gearing up for Christmas at the moment and according to the royal rumour mill, the entire family will gather together to spend the festive season at Sandringham, the Queen's Norfolk estate. It's believed that the Queen has invited Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, to join them this year and when you consider the rest of the clan are all set to be there, the little ones included, it's sure to be a fun-filled few days.
