Sale season has officially started and the first bargain we have spotted are these stunning River Island boots.

The high-street brand has kicked off its sale on Christmas Eve and as per usual, you'll have to act quick because some of the discounts are seriously impressive. We're all about the Black Suede Knee High Heeled Boots which have been reduced from €127 to €45. Knee-high boots are the type of purchase that we recycle every winter because a) they're ideal for keeping you toasty during the cold weather and b) they manage to dress up any outfit. Wear with a cosy knit and jeans for an everyday look but they're also ideal with a minidress and faux fur jacket for party season. You really can't go wrong with a bargain like this, especially when there's such a massive reduction too. At the time of writing, there are a few sizes in stock, but we don't envisage them lasting long especially considering how popular suede knee-highs are. Another item worth watching out for in the sales is a coat and we have found a classic buy that will work all year round.
