“Lampshading” Is The New Celebrity Go-To Look And It’s A Bit Fab

If you have been a little daunted by the idea of thigh-high boots, read on. It's a fine line between sexy and trashy and thigh high boots sit RIGHT on that line. If you like the look but are a bit intimidated or unsure of what to pair with them, take a leaf out of the celebs' books and try "lampshading". While we definitely thought this trend would have something to do with a giant hat when we first saw it, it turns out it refers to pairing your thigh-highs with an over-sized jumper. Done.
