That's the vibe for today's Tommy Hilfiger show at New York Fashion Week. The all-American designer has gone outward bound for autumn/winter 2014 with a collection inspired by the great American outdoors and "infused with a luxe reinterpretation for today’s adventurous young women".
Expect traditional tartan on brushed wool-cashmere, mohair, and silk, a range of shirt-dress silhouettes and must-have leather totes and satchels. Before spring even arrives in earnest, it's enough to make you think of warm winter woolies again.
