Looking for the perfect wide leg knee high boots? We got you

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Boots season is here.

Knee high and over the knee boots are huge this winter, but if you’re like me and suffer from big calf syndrome, it can be nearly impossible to get a pair that actually fit.

Finding a pair only for them not to go past your ankle is heartbreaking, and when it comes to the wide fit section, they’re never the same pairs and let’s be honest, they’re never as nice.

Whether it’s for a dressier event or just simply grabbing a coffee, us bigger calved gals want to look just as cute in our boots.

While you can go onto most websites and either search for them or filter a regular search, finding the exact pair you want is just annoying, for use of a better word.

Best for a night out

The ASOS DESIGN Cancun knee high boots are the perfect night out essential. Not too high that they will leave you unable to walk more than two steps but high enough to give a little bit more to your look. And of course, the pointed toe is a major plus.

Best for a chill day

The RAID Wide Fit Challenge chunky flat boots are ideal for a day where you’re planning a coffee date, a walk through the park or shopping trip. Basically, if you’re going to be on your feet a lot, these are the ones for you.

Best pair to be on trend

Cowboy boots are in everyone’s wardrobes right now, but for anyone with a bigger calf, they can be an absolute nightmare to find. ASOS DESIGN has a perfect pair that also incorporates the vinyl look that is huge right now too.

Best versatile pair

Square toe, vinyl print, mid-sized heel, these Topshop boots have all the factors of a perfect everyday boot. They can go from the day to night instantly and can work in any setting.
