Looks Like Charlize Is Following In Katie Holmes’s Footsteps…

She never sets a fashionably clad foot wrong on the red carpet, so it comes as no surprise that the always chic Charlize Theron is the latest in the long line of celebrities turning her hand to design.

And, while the actress always has a jam packed schedule, working on her latest movies and taking care of her baby son, she’s also been busy collaborating with her stylist Leslie Fremar on a new denim collection.

The line named Theron Jeans Line will launch in the US later this year and the designer duo hope to market their affordable line to the mass market.

This isn’t the statuesque South Africa beauty’s first foray into the world of fashion. She already has a line of eco-friendly footwear with the TOMS Shoes brand, where all profits benefit her non-profit charity, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which aids children living in poverty in her homeland.

And, Charlize isn’t the first celeb to indulge her passion for fashion. Katie Holmes teamed up with her stylist Jeanne Yang to create her Holmes & Yang label in 2009 which showed at New York Fashion week shortly after it launched.
