It's coming to an end.
Yesterday, it was announced that the prestigious bridal boutique, Myrtle Ivory, will close its doors at the end of next month.
The shop was co-founded by Marina O Riordan and Suzanne Mills in 2007, with Marina and her daughter Meghann working in the boutique every day.
The store, which is located on Dublin's Anne's Lane, has found gowns for some of Ireland's most famous brides including Amy Huberman and Rosanna Davidson.
We spoke to Meghann about the most magical moments of working in the boutique - and while memorable, they're bittersweet.
Speaking of the 10 most inspiring and marvellous times she has experienced, Meghann said: "Gosh we have really had so many magical moments with our brides."
1.
"We’ve had brides who have battled through breast cancer and survive and walk down the aisle wearing their wedding gown.
2.
"We’ve been delighted to campaign for same sex marriage. See it come to fruition and dress brides for their same sex marriage," she said.
3.
"We’ve had brides whom have had to sadly bring their weddings forward for fear of a beloved ill relative not making it to their wedding date - and the joy it brings when it all comes together and we’ve been able to expedite their dress."
4.
"We’ve truly enjoyed introducing new internationally renowned designers to the Irish market and showcase them in the Shelbourne."
5.
"On a personal level getting to work alongside my mother has been magical, and not something many people can say. I’m so incredibly proud of her and all that she has done for Myrtle Ivory."
6.
"Getting to wear my own wedding gown by Claire Pettibone in 2017!"
7.
"Buying trips to Milan, London, Barcelona & New York."
8.
"Dressing my friends for their big days."
9.
"And so many heart warming cards of thank you over the years."
10.
"Also to quote a former bride of mine, who heard we are closing she thanked us for not only finding her dream dress 'truthfully one of the most memorable mother daughter moments I’ve ever had with my mum, thank you guys for that memory'."
The sale in Myrtle Ivory will run from now until July 31. Appointments are available from Monday to Friday, however you are allowed to walk in on Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 4pm.
