Meghan Markle’s wedding day perfume sounds absolutely gorgeous

Cathy Donohue

We have a feeling everyone will want a bottle.

Apparently, Meghan Markle has a wedding perfume in mind and if we can believe the speculation, it sounds absolutely stunning.

According to reports, perfumer Floris London has developed a special scent but it won’t be unveiled until the day itself.

The luxury perfumer will send a specially-formulated scent, a unisex perfume FYI, to wear on the big day.

Whether both Harry and Meghan wear the fragrance is another story but we’ll just have to wait and see.

In conversation with People, Amalia Robles, the manager of the brand’s gorgeous London store, explained that the royal perfume is inspired by one of its most popular scents, Bergamotto di Positano.

The description for the scent says that it brings to mind the “cooling sea breeze and crystal-clear waters of the Amalfi coast” and if you’ve ever visited this part of the world you’ll know how stunning it is.

It includes bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom and vanilla and is finished with a base of amber, ambrette and ginger creating a warm yet refreshing fragrance.

According to the publication, Floris London has a royal warrant which allows them to advertise the fact that they have supplied goods to the royal family.

Every year, they create a bespoke birthday fragrance for Queen Elizabeth and Wedding Bouquet was the one created for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

This scent isn’t available for purchase and the fragrance created for Harry and Meghan won’t go on general sale either.

Floris London has been creating scents for the royal family since 1920 with the brand itself founded in 1730 by Juan Floris.

Now, we really want to smell it…
