Two weeks to go…

Most brides keep the details of their wedding dress a surprise ahead of their big day but it looks like the cat has been let out of the bag when it comes to Meghan Markle’s gown.

The soon-to-be royal bride will reportedly be wearing a dress by Ralph and Russo when she walks down the aisle in Windsor on 19 May.

Multiple sources have confirmed that she’s chosen the fashion house to create a wedding dress fit for a princess, according to The Daily Mail.

Stars including Bella Hadid, Rita Ora and Angelina Jolie have all worn Ralph and Russo’s designs in the past.

It’s reported that the gown will cost £100,000 (around €113,355) and that the cost is being taken care of by the royal family.

“It sounds a lot but this is the wedding of the year and hundreds of hours of manpower have gone into making it, almost all by hand,” a source revealed.

The choice mightn’t come as a surprise to those who have watched the build-up to the royal wedding closely.

E! reports that designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, who have offices in London, Paris and New York, have been spotted around the UK capital quite a bit lately.

The Ralph and Russo Atelier team were also seen at Hampton Court Palace this week. They were there to inspect the portfolios of students at the Royal School of Needlework, but it could be a hint that they’re set to dress Meghan on her wedding day.

We already know that Meghan is a fan of Ralph and Russo – she wore their dress in her engagement photos with Prince Harry.

It’s reported that Meghan will also have a second dress later in the day but no word on who will design that.
