The sign said: ‘I’m a psychotic mess but at least my eyebrows look good’.
This was obviously meant as a lighthearted jibe about prioritising makeup but it seemed unnecessary to use the word 'psychotic'.

Hollie, who spotted the sign, posted a picture of it on Twitter along with the dictionary definition of the word 'psychotic'.
Another Twitter user points out that the word was wholly unnecessary and the statement 'I'm a mess but at least my eyebrows look good' essentially says the exact same thing.

After Hollie sent the store a complaint they responded with the following statement according to Metro.
‘I’m really sorry that the “I’m a psychotic mess but at least my eyebrows look good” sign in our Westfield store caused offence. ‘That definitely wasn’t our intention. ‘Our store design is carefully considered by a dedicated team who will assess the appropriateness of signage, bearing in mind our target audience and those visiting the store. ‘We do take all feedback very seriously and I have passed this to our store team for review.’
