This new Irish brand is making sunglasses from recycled plastic, bamboo and wood

This is deadly.

We’re all about sustainable fashion and are trying to find the best brands that promote recycling, upcycling and everything in between.

Well, we have just come across a new accessories brand from Ireland which makes sustainable sunglasses and watches.

Crann is the brain child of Eoin McGuinness from Co. Meath. He started Crann in 2018 to introduce eco-friendly products to a large demographic of Irish consumers.

Eoin believes that by upcycling and recycling materials into products he can play his role in the clean up and reduction of waste pollution in the world.

“Recycling materials can reduce the consumption of new waste materials, reduce energy usage and ultimately reduce pollution,” says Eoin.

The sunglasses are sleek and minimalistic, which is right on trend right now. They make a statement without breaking the bank – or the planet.

As well as that, the company donates to a woodland charity. “We are sustainable by nature so with every purchase of Crann products we give a donation to the Native Woodland Trust, who are dedicated to the preservation of Ireland’s remaining ancient woodlands,” says Eoin.
