Namilia Spring 2018 NYFW show was all about the vagina. Literally.
Using the V as inspiration for her upcoming collection, the designer revealed an array of bellowed pants cuffs, pearl-encrusted boob tassels and bejewelled thongs.
This collection takes “free the nipple” to new highs and according to the show invite, the collection was inspired by the 1748 novel The Indiscreet Jewels written by Denis Diderot. It’s an allegory that portrays Louis XV as the sultan Mangogul who owns a magic ring that makes women’s genitals (“jewels”) talk. Bizzare.
The models strutted down the runway in the wackiest of vulva outfits with Disney music as their backing track. I mean can this get any weirder?
