The one accessory we all need to invest in now, according to Copenhagen Fashion Week

We kind of love this.

Anna O'Rourke

Damn those Danes.

They’re stylish as hell – but they’re not making things easy for us in the accessory department.

It’s Copenhagen Fashion Week and we’ve been glued to the street style to get an idea of the trends that we’ll all be following for the next year.

One that’s clearly going nowhere? Micro bags.

Tiny handbags are everywhere in Copenhagen right now.

While lots look like they were made for a Barbie, you can’t deny that they’re super cute.

They also make the wearer look impossibly cool – what could be more chill than comfortably being able to leave the house with a bag that allows you to bring nothing but your phone and maybe a Leap card with you?

But whether you go for an envelope-sized one or something even smaller, it’s time to accept that bags are shrinking and to get in on the trend now.

The whole point here is to add whimsy to an outfit so you may as well choose an interesting mála.

No need to copy Copenhagen’s most stylish and go for a designer one, though – we’ve rounded up some super affordable options here.
