One theme dominated the VIP Style Awards red carpet last night

Anna O'Rourke

An incredibly stylish bunch.

With the night that was in it, the attendees at this year’s Peter Mark VIP Style Awards were always going top bring their A-game on the red carpet.

After a week of dodgy weather, the sun broke through in Dublin just as Ireland’s most stylish guys and gals arrived for the evening.

We saw some killer looks, but one theme seemed to dominate – drama.

Striking silhouettes, eye-catching patterns and fun fabrics were the order of the night.

Here are our absolute favourite red carpet looks.

Ailbhe Garrihy

The sister of Spin 1038’s Doireann and actress Aoibhín, Ailbhe picked up Best Newcomer last night and it’s easy to see why.

On paper, a cardigan over a full skirt mightn’t sound like much but seriously – wow.

Lisa Jordan

Trust a Cork woman to bring the drama! We adored Lisa’s ruffled black gown from boutique Phoenix V.

Celia Holman Lee

I mean…

Celia never looks anything less than glamorous and last night was no exception.

She positively shone in a lavender off-the-shoulder dress with the best sleeves we’ve ever seen.

Courtney Smith

Courtney showed off her credentials as a stylist, cutting through the sea of dresses in a rockstar-appropriate glittery feathered jumpsuit.

Bláthnaid Treacy

The radio and TV presenter’s edgy look is one we’ve forever admired and we loved what she wore last night.

Bláthnaid was the picture of Hollywood glamour in a stunning metallic tiered number.

Lauren Arthurs

Lauren went with what we reckon is the girly-girl’s dream outfit – a stunning princess dress in soft pink satin.

Louise Cooney

Our look of the night.

Louise killed it in a Dolce and Gabbana-inspired black dress with lace corset-style bodice and full skirt.
