Our top 9 looks from The British Fashion Awards 2019 red carpet

Olivia Hayes

There were certainly some stand-out looks.

Last night, celebrities, designers, influencers and models all arrived to London’s Royal Albert Hall for the annual British Fashion Awards.

The night is filled to the brim with weird and whacky looks – all of which I adore; but I also want to give a nod to the classic and simple rig outs too.

Over the past number of years, red carpets have been much of the same old, same old, however; 2019 has seen a rise in fantastically eccentric and outlandish designs (just look at Shailene Woodley below).

I’ve picked out my top nine looks from last night, and let’s just say… it’s quite a mix:

Winnie Harlow in Vivienne Westwood

Eva Chen in Christopher Kane

Angela Scanlon in custom Warehouse

Jessica Barden in Christopher Kane

Emilia Clarke in Schiaparelli

Laura Whitmore in River Island

Rihanna in custom Fenty

Lily James in Valentino

Special mention:

Shailene Woodley in Moncler by Pierpaolo Piccioli
