Parents slam Penneys over matching €6 dresses for mums and daughters
What about the boys?
Parents are slamming fashion retailer, Penneys because it launched matching floral dresses for mums and daughters.
The fashion giant introduced the Spring/Summer range into most stores last week but has since received a lot of backlash.
It started when Penneys posted a TikTok video showing two mannequins, an adult and a child-sized one, in identical floral patterns.
The voiceover said: "I don't know who needs to hear this, but spring is coming.
"Time to twin with your little one."

However, mums of boys were not impressed with the new additions to Penneys.
Many were upset that the retailer didn't launch a matching set for mums and their sons.
One wrote: "Mums of boys would love it if Primark did a collection where you could match with the little men in your life!"
Another said: "We want to match our boys too! Come on now, my boy would rock that print in a pair of shorts."
One mum commented: "Boys forgotten about again?
"How about mums with boys? Let's see do wonders by summer 2023."

According to the Mirror, a spokesperson for Penneys said: "We regularly have matching ranges for the entire family, including our famous Christmas fam jams and our Amalfi lemon range last summer.
"Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming summer family collection, due in stores in about eight weeks!"
