People are arguing about whether this outfit is work appropriate or not

office appropriate

There are plenty of things that you can wear to work.

Pants is one. A skirt is another. A hot dog costume is another if you happen to work as a promo person for a hot dog based company.

It all depends on the context, guys.

One outfit has caused a bit of controversy online though and people simply cannot decided whether it’s work appropriate or not.

We personally don’t see the issue, but also working alongside an abundance of women in their mid 20s means that you’re probably going to be used to seeing legs, chests, and everything in between over the course of the summer days.

And everyone in the office still gets their work done. Madness.

The outfit was shared by New Zealand radio DJs Stace and Flynny who kicked off the debate a few days ago saying that they had been discussing the outfit themselves.

A lot of people shared the opinion that 1) women should be able to wear whatever they wanted to work, and 2) that the outfit wasn’t particularly risqué anyway so what was the big deal?

Others, however, argued that it depended on what kind of workplace you were going to – which makes sense.

For example, if you worked in a carwash, it probably wouldn’t make sense for you to rock up in knee highs and a mini. You’d look class but could you scrub those tires?

Probably not.

Similarly, if your job involved anything to do with taming animals, this particular look probably wouldn’t be the most practical thing to wear.

If you just worked in an office though, and you were #feelingyourself, probably not the least appropriate collection of garments you could wear to work.

Be grand, like.
