People are going mad for ASOS’s new plus-size bikini model

When it comes to all things representation, airbrushing, and recognising that there's more than one body type, online fashion retailers have been playing a blinder. ASOS and Missguided have very much been leading the charge when it comes to portraying real women with real bodies and real clothes. And it's a blessing to be honest because as we all know, not everybody can fit into size 6 clothing. As summer though approaches we can probably expect to see a tonne of online retailers selling stunning bikinis using slim models. Because that's how swimwear is traditionally sold, right? Well, not so much on ASOS anymore because they've got a plus-size model wearing a fab bikini on site and everybody is absolutely living for her. Absolutely slaying it, like. And the bikini is cute AF too. The model's name is Vivian Eyo-Ephraim and she's a model, actor, and sometimes television extra. She's also the winner of the 2017 Global Curve Model search so fair play to her. Ive never , ever seen an ad like this before. I’ve never worn a bikini before because of my body type. This makes me think about trying it. Pretty cool.
