As the days continue to grow colder, we’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for the perfect winter coat. Yes, it’s a yearly struggle trying to find the coat that will keep us both warm, and on trend. And while we don’t want to scrimp when it comes to such an important piece in our wardrobes, we also don’t want to say goodbye to half our wages on one item. So with a budget of €85, we went in search of a winter coat that would work for both day-to-day casual wear and for a more formal occasion if needs be – and we think we found a gem! If you’ve been on any high street in the country recently, you’ll have realised there is one print that’s dominating shop fronts everywhere – Prince of Wales print. The classic print has been seen at every Fashion Week so far this year, as well as on every street style watch lists from across the globe. Well, New Look has released the perfect coat in a classic shape with the bang on trend print. Coming in at just €69.99, the longline coat is also under budget. And while at first glance it looks like a simple black and white coat, on closer inspection the coat has a touch of blue and burgundy running through it which makes it a little more unique. Whether styling it over a chunky knit, jeans and a pair of runners or draping it over LBD on a night out, this coat fits the bill perfectly.
