Peter Dundas is to take the helm at Roberto Cavalli after his new role as creative director of the fashion house was announced today.
Speaking earlier today, Dundas said: "This is a homecoming for me".
"It is an honour for me to continue to evolve the wonderful world of Roberto Cavalli and I am very excited by the possibilities and potential of this unique brand. I cannot wait to get started".
"The choice of Peter Dundas was made with the desire to evolve a style that combines glamour, tradition and innovation, recognised worldwide as the signature of Cavalli since the birth of the house," Roberto and Eva Cavalli said.
At the beginning of his career, Peter worked under Roberto for three years before moving to Emanuel Ungaro where he took up the position of creative director.
He then moved to head up Emilio Pucci in 2008 where he worked up until February this year.
Dundas had some A-MAZ-ING collections during his time with Emilio Pucci and we are very excited about his future with Cavalli.
