Yes, they definitely finish off an outfit and there is nothing we love more than an amazing pair of heels. Some of us in Her.ie towers even hug our shoes, they shall remain nameless.

However, we started to feel a little differently about our favourite skyscrapers when we saw this 3D scan of what our feet look like when they are squashed into some high heels.

According to the Daily Mail, the picture above was taken with a new £200,000 scanner at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, North London, the PedCAT machine.

Pretty disturbing.
