Bright suits are having a moment and here’s where to nab one

We found three gorge suits for every shape.

If you take a quick scroll through Instagram, there’s one thing that’s standing out lately.

Bright suits.

From bloggers to celebs, everyone seems to be getting in on the trend, and while it might seem like it’s a daring look (can you really wear one colour from head to toe?), they look extremely slick on everybody we’ve seen rocking one.

From Aoibhinn Garrihy donning a red suit last week, to Louise Cooney opting to wear a pink one today at the Dublin Horse Show, it’s safe to say they’re having a serious moment.

And so, to get in on the trend, we went on the hunt to find the perfect bright suit.

The first one we found is from Principles by Ben de Lisi in Debenhams and comes in at under €140, with the blazer costing €82.50 and trousers going for €52.50.

The deep pink hue is gorge, and together with the double-breasted blazer, it makes the suit look like it’s from Gucci rather than Debenhams.

The trousers are also cropped a little above the ankle, so if you’re a petite woman, they’re the perfect style to go for.

Red suits are certainly getting the Irish influencer seal of approval lately and we found a fab one from Dorothy Perkins.

The tailored two piece has a double-breasted blazer as well, and the red tone won’t look too harsh on the good ‘ol Irish skin tone.

The blazer comes in at €50 and the trousers are €32. Buying a suit like this means you can mix and match it with everything in your wardrobe. Team the blazer with a pair of denim skinnies and black stilettos and you’re sorted for a night out with the ladies.

The last suit we found is also from Dorothy Perkins. We absolutely adore the bubblegum pink colour, and the price point won’t break the bank either.

With the blazer coming in at €45 and the trousers coming in at €32, it’s perfect for an end-of-summer wedding or party.

And like with all of the suits, you can easily style this up with basic pieces from your wardrobe.

If you nab one, see it as an investment piece because this trend is going nowhere.
