I wish I could just show you now, but I'd ruin it because it's not 100 per cent yet."She also confided that we might not see the product for a while yet but that she'd love to share it with the world sooner.
"The process from design to actually just having a sample item in your hand is so long. It takes forever. "Even small changes like stitching or rivets or buttons or just a label being moved just adds weeks." "It's at this early stage that I really want to go, 'What do you guys this of this? Would you use this? Would you wear this?' But you can't."
The new item will come under the POCO collection umbrella, Pippa said, hinting that it's something different to the jeans range that POCO is now synonymous with.
There's no word on when the new item will come to market - it could be as much as a year and a half, she told her followers.
Whenever it's released, the new item will be part of an already well-established brand.
POCO was launched at the end of last year and proved successful very successful for Pippa and her husband Brian Ormond.
The brand closed its pop-up shop in Dundrum in May and is set to open again in Cork's Mahon Point Shopping Centre in August.
