The Queen of Spain just wore this €39 Zara dress – and now we all want it

Move over, Kate and Meghan.

We got a new royal-style crush – and she is not only gorgeous, but at 49, Queen Letizia of Spain has spent years perfecting the art of mixing high street and high fashion – and the result is nothing short of fabulous.

Letizia, who is married to King Felipe of Spain, is often spotted wearing outfits from Spanish high street stores like Zara, Mango and Massimo Dutti – and her latest outfit – a while and pink minidress from Zara – became an instant sell-out after she was photographed wearing it.

The stylish royal, who is currently holidaying in Palma de Mallorca with her husband, daughters and mother-in-law, wore the dress out for dinner at Beatbik Restaurant and later on for a visit to the Paseo de Sagrera market in Palma.

The summery dress has a flippy skirt, classic collar, belting and long sleeves – and to finish off her outfit, Letizia wore a pair of matching pink wedge heels by Spanish designer Clooui and an ikat printed clutch bag by local label Feel Mallorca.

The stylish mum was also joined by her daughter, Princess Leonor, who also opted for wedge heels and a printed Zara mini dress for the occasion.

The dress – which I think we can all agree is perfect for summer – is currently sold out on the Zara Ireland website, but will be back in stock soon – so don’t miss out.

‘She’s too old for this dress’

However, while we all think the 49-year-old looked amazing in her high street dress, not everyone agreed.

The bright pink dress left royal fans divided with many claiming it was “way too short” and more appropriate for her daughters.

Instagram user @heidimariescott said: “This is…. Too short for a Queen or Princess.

“But wonderful for one of her daughters!”

Another one, @graceofmonacogram, commented: “No, she is too old for this kind of dress…

“This one would be perfect for Leonor!”

Royal watcher @viv.cantu agreed saying: “I think she should let the daughters stand out.”
