We'd say yes to this.

Anyone addicted to Say Yes To The Dress?

Fab, me too.

I personally made the best of being stuck indoors during Storm Emma by watching approximately six to eight hours of the show back-to-back every day.

It’s a great watch but what I sometimes can’t get my head around is the sheer amount some women are willing to drop on something they’ll only wear once.

Yes, it’s arguably one of the most significant things you’ll ever wear but really, thousands upon thousands on a dress? I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

Bridal boutiques aren’t the only way to go, of course.

More and more high street stores and affordable brands are getting into the wedding dress game with some genuinely stunning collections.

The latest retailer to do so is shopping channel QVC, which has just brought out its own wedding gown that you could easily believe cost a few grand.

The dress is in a sheath style and has a gently draped cowl neckline at the front and a low back and a long train trimmed with delicate frilling.

Its silk-look material is actually viscose and is in an off-white/ ivory shade, a colour that (thanks to David Emanuel) I know flatters far more skin tones than classic white does.

It comes in sizes XS to XL and is even machine washable, if you fancy cleaning it yourself.

The dress is a collaboration with Ghost London and costs £695 (€781.87). Check it out here.
