Rihanna has unveiled her first ever designer collaboration for the Savage X Fenty brand

Rebecca O'Keeffe

Our Queen, Rihanna, has just released news of the latest collection from her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty.

We’re dying.

For the first time, the singer and business icon has partnered with another designer, Adam Selman, for an exclusive collaboration.

And while you may not recognise the name, you will most definitely recognise Adam’s work.

Do you recall that crystal-covered see-through gown Rihanna wore at the 2014 CFDA Awards? The one where she accepted her very own Style Icon award?

You know, the one that had the matching head piece.

Yep, Adam Selman was the genius behind that lewk.

Speaking about this awesome collaboration, Selman told Vogue:

“When she started Savage, she wanted something different than what was in the market and she wanted it to be unapologetic.”

“I think that the history we have working together, I sort of take a very similar approach with my designing and I know how she likes to look at things.”

The collection itself will be split into two themes of sort: Down The Aisle and Locket Down.

Down The Aisle is all about the Eighties, featuring pastel shades, high cut briefs, ruffled edges and lots of bows.

Locket Down, on the other hand, is unapologetically sexy, with vinyl bras in red and black, zip detailing and rose-shaped nipple pasties.

We can’t wait to see it in full!
