Winter wedding coming up?
Winter is becoming an increasingly popular period for weddings and it can be difficult to find an outfit that caters for colder temperatures.
However, a midi dress is always a failsafe option and we are just obsessed with this River Island option.
This is the Black Daisy Embroidered Frill Midi Dress and it’s priced at €75.
Now, there is a fairly common belief that wearing black is not the ‘done’ thing when it comes to a wedding but honestly, that concept is slightly outdated.
I wore a black and gold dress last year to a winter wedding and although it was a last-minute choice, it worked out perfectly.
And I already have my eye on the aforementioned River Island dress because although it would be perfect for a special occasion piece, it’s the kind of item that can be worn time and time again.
In fact, I see myself reaching for it time and time again on those ‘I don’t have anything to wear and need to look put-together’ days.
It’s quite a pretty design, note the fab daisy print, but add a pair of biker boots to give it a fashion edge, a trend that’s becoming increasingly popular this season.
Speaking of special occasion looks, this slip dress is absolutely stunning and again, it’s a little black dress that will soon become one of your favourite outfits.
