It was the awards ceremony heard round the world, what with #Oscargate (we can't unsee it), and despite missing out on the lead actress gong, Ruth Negga cemented herself as one to watch on the fashion front.
Arriving early on the red carpet, the Limerick native looked demure in a high neck custom Valentino, which had us seriously crushing on the victorian era.
Most notably she accessorised with an ACLU blue ribbon showing her support for the American Civil Liberties Union.
Not too shabby for her first Academy Awards, the Irish actress has arrived.
