Saoirse Ronan used last night’s Oscars red carpet to introduce us to a fresh new hairstyle.
The 25-year-old actor has had a short fringe cut in, which frames her face beautifully. The new cut is highlighted in an icy blonde mixed through with honey lowlights, and has a feathered finish to give it a light feel.
Saoirse wore the rest of her hair swept back in an upstyle that was neither overly sleek nor messy. The gently textured finish was set off by jewelled insect clips in silver and green.
The clips came from Gucci, as did Saoirse’s Oscars gown which featured a black satin top with a deep V, statement peplum waist and long skirt in lilac.

Saoirse’s new look was created by stylist Adir Abergel, who has worked with the Little Women star right throughout awards season.
Adir is creative director with Virtue Labs, and he revealed on his Instagram stories that he used the brand’s volumnising primer and setting spray in creating Saoirse’s look, before finishing it with a Dyson supersonic dryer.
Once the Irish woman’s hair was finished, Adir was rushing across LA to put the finishing touches to his other A-list client Charlize Theron. In recent weeks, Adir cut a new ultra-short blonde crop in for the Bombshell actor.
