They’re having the desired effect, anyway.

Searches for plus-size activewear have risen exponentially since Nike launched their all inclusive mannequins last week.

Online retailer Love The Sales has reported a considerable 387 percent increase in searches for keywords ‘Nike’ and ‘plus size’ since last Thursday.

As well as this, page clicks on the brand’s One Luxe tights that the mannequin wears have gone up by 200 percent.

The site has also seen a 78 percent increase in searches for plus-size activewear in general since the mannequins appeared in Nike’s London flagship store last week.

The move has received much support online from people who appreciate some in store mannequins that actually look like real women.

Similarly, others praised the brand for encouraging more women to feel comfortable in sportswear that is often only targeted towards slimmer customers.

Nike has also seen much success with their other pieces of inclusive clothing.

This includes the Nike Pro Hijab that was released earlier this year and has already become one of the most popular items of clothes in the world.

The power of the brand, eh?
