This is an absolute FIND.

If you’re planning a shopping trip abroad, chances are New York is the number one destination.

The city that never sleeps is the perfect place to burn your hard-earned cash with numerous outlets, designer stores and hidden vintage spots.

However, we’ve just found out that the best-kept style secret in America isn’t actually in New York.

Yep, The New York Times has detailed how United Apparel Liquidators, known as U.A.L to its many worshippers, is THE place for designer finds at majorly discounted prices.

There are six U.A.L stores – three are in Nashville and the remaining three in Hattiesburg, New Orleans and Austin. As you’ll see below, the discounts are off the scale.

Here are just a few of the spoils that been uncovered at this gem.

Manolo Blahnik heels – originally $1000, now $224
Thierry Mugler gown – originally $2,960, discounted to $740.
Oscar de la Renta – originally $3,500, discounted to $733

It gets better too because the stores regularly hold flashes sales with discounts of up to 30% (that’s on top of the already discounted items), announced via their social media accounts AND they get new deliveries to each store five days a week.

U.A.L is run by Bill and Melody Cohen, who head up the business with their former daughter-in-law, Stephanie Cohen.

Women have been crossing states for 37 years to get their hands on the type of bargains they won’t find anywhere else with one shopper describing it as “intoxicating” and another saying that she needs a “full afternoon” whenever she hits up one of the stores.

Needless to say, we’re currently making a plan for a trip to the USA that somehow involves a pitstop at a U.A.L. store.
