She married Alexis Ohanian on Thursday - celebrating with a reception attended by 200 nearest and dearest (including a host of big names).

She admitted that the dress was "completely the opposite of what I ever thought I would choose for myself," but that she was persuaded by the opportunity to wear a "really spectacular ball gown". For the New Orleans ceremony, Serena also opted for a cape (which Her recently identified as being a major bridal trend). She chose white roses for her bouquet; her jewellery was from XIV Karats and was worth €3million.

The bridesmaids - which of course included her tennis pro sister Venus - wore custom Galia Lahav dresses. The couple's two-month daughter, Olympia, was very much front and centre for the day and features in the couple's snaps.
