Shine! Pandora introduces a gold collection and it’s SO gorgeous

Cathy Donohue

Oh WOW.

Jewellery brand Pandora has a huge following with their charm bracelets and single bangles proving a huge hit globally.

Up to now, the collections have been predominantly silver although there was a gorgeous rose gold range in recent times.

Continuing on the gold theme, Pandora Shine has just launched and the 18ct gold plated designs mark a new direction for the much-loved jewellery brand.

I attended the Irish launch for the collection which was held at the recently renovated five-star Adare Manor in Limerick.

As hotels go, it is the height of grandeur which was in keeping with the theme as the Shine collection is all about adding a little luxury to your everyday life.

Think geometric chokers, sparkling stacking rings and delicate bracelets all of which have a story to tell.

There are three separate ranges within the Shine collection: Bee Mine, Rays of Sunshine and the Iconic Pandora Designs.

Dedicated fans will be delighted to hear that some of Pandora’s most-loved pieces are now available in 18-carat plated gold.

These include the Hearts of Pandora necklace (€179) and ring (€99), the Forever earrings (€69) and the Enchanted Crown Ring (€99) all of which previously been available in either silver or rose gold.

Bee Mine includes bee motifs, all of which are exquisitely detailed with a choker (€199), limited-edition bracelet (€179) and a Honeybee ring, designed to remind us of the hexagonal shape of the honeycomb.

The charm bracelet which could be described as the most recognisable has had a makeover, say hello to the snake-chain bracelet in 18ct plated gold, priced at €179.

Rays of Sunshine features some gorgeous pieces all of which play host to the sun and its golden tones.

The Seasonal Sun Pendant (€89) is inspired by rays of sunshine and the hand-applied enamel is also evident in the Rays of Sunshine charm (€79).

The Shine collection is available to buy now from Pandora stores nationwide, with prices starting at €45.

Any gold-obsessed magpies (I can’t be the only one) will want to check the latest designs out immediately.
