This ski resort is made of old shipping containers and we NEED to go there

Niamh Maher

Repurposed. Just the word makes our tiny interior-loving hearts skip a beat.

Okay, some will say there’s a whiff of notions, but give us anything old and gross that’s now new and glorious and WE ARE SOLD, also we’re currently sipping from a mason jar filled with lemons, we’re ok with notions.

The Quadrum Ski and Yoga Resort is just as fancy as it sounds, nestled deep in the Caucuses Mountains of Georgia and surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views, you can ski and do yoga all day long, relax in the swimming pools and meditate.

Realistically if we were there, we’d simply take pictures for Instagram, because OH.MY.LORD. It’s beautiful.

The resort is entirely made up of repurposed shipping containers (YES), each one serving as a room.

The philosophy behind the project is to protect the environment from harmful effects of work and leisure. How we wish we could all live in repurposed shipping containers.

Right, I’m off down the docks.
