Really, who wouldn't love to own a piece by Oscar de la Renta?
Beloved by actresses and models the world over, we'd be in very good company. Normally, however, that would require a Lotto win, which we're not holding out a huge amount of hope for.
It's become a little easier today though, with the launch of the designer's second exclusive collection for
THEOUTNET.COM
Comprised of 19 ready-to-wear styles, the limited edition range lands on the site today.
The accompanying campaign features street style star, entrepreneur and founder of Russian fashion news website Buro247, Miroslava Duma. Based in Moscow, Duma is photographed and recognized worldwide for her impeccable sense of style.
The second Oscar de la Renta for THE OUTNET collection includes an array of party dresses, skirts and embellished tops perfect for the holiday season. Each piece references a classic silhouette, reinvented in luxe fabrics such as jewel-tone silk, rich brocade and glistening tweed. The range also includes 12 resort pieces, a first for the online retailer. With bright ikat prints, polka dots and stripes, highlights of the range include a stretch-cotton dress with a flounced hem and a statement floor-length kaftan.
Shira Suveyke, Vice President of Global Buying for THE OUTNET.COM said: “Oscar de la Renta continues to be one of THE OUTNET.COM’s most important partners. This second range reflects both our customers’ strong response to the first exclusive collection and their love of the Oscar de la Renta brand.”
Now we're not saying this suddenly means we can afford to go wild on Oscar, but those women who save for special pieces instead of regular weekend splurges on the high street will rejoice to see this collection, and regular readers will already know that we have a very special place in our heart for THEOUTNET.COM; it's brought some of our favourite men and women into our lives - Marc, Michael, Orla and Donna to name but a few!
