Style Wars: Jessie J Wants a More…Refined, Classy Look

We all know that sometimes there’s nothing better than switching up your style and changing your look. Sometimes, all we need to get a fresh lease of life into us, is a new haircut or a piece of clothing that we wouldn’t normally wear.

So we kind of understand why Jessie J has hired a new stylist to shake up her (already edgy) wardrobe. Change is good, and hey, even the celebs need it every once in a while.

The Irish Independent reports that Jessie J, who is known for her cat suits and crazy print-clashing, has enlisted the help of Cobbie Yates, a fashion guru and the brother of The Voice host Reggie Yates.

According to reports, Jessie is now interested in giving herself a sleeker, more ‘polished’ look instead of her usual loud, bright style.

And it seems as though Jessie’s transformation has already begun. In fact, she was snapped at the weekend looking classy in a Vivienne Westwood mini-dress and sporting some new long, locks before a gig at the Roadhouse in Camden, London.

A source told the Daily Mirror that Jessie has decided to break-up with her current stylist Karl Willett, in favour of Cobbie Yates. Jessie reportedly feels like she’s ‘outgrown’ the looks that Karl has been giving her and is ready to move on to something different.

“Jessie has worked with Karl for a long time but she decided it’s time for a change,” said the source.
