The stylish River Island shoes you’ll want in your summer wardrobe

Summer 2017, so close and yet so far.

This dreary, dark, dull weather has us dreaming of sunnier climes and beach days which of course is reason enough for a new season wardrobe. While it's a little early to be planning your holiday style, there's no harm in the *odd* purchase and having spent Sunday browsing Instagram, these River Island newbies are an absolute must. They're called sliders (aka, a major trend for spring summer 2017), they're adorned with pom-poms which are back again this summer AND they're flat so perfect for holiday wear.

Priced at €37, they come in red and black and we have a sneaking suspicion this is one shoe you're going to see all over Instagram in the coming months. Sliders are becoming THE shoe of SS17 and you can go as wacky (see the Primark options, €8, below) or understated as you like.
