The super-soft, sustainable €48 joggers we’ll be living in as lockdown continues

Anna Rourke

While the latest news on lockdown might not be great, at least we have an excuse to stay in stretchy clothes.

It looks like we’ll be working from home for the foreseeable so we’re going to invest in some quality loungewear.

Getting out of our PJs and into some real clothes always makes us feel better, even if it’s only into a pair of tracksuit bottoms, and we reckon we’ve found the perfect pair.

UK brand Thought is great for sustainable basics and their Dashka bamboo joggers are just what we want to wear around the house right now.

Thought says that these are one of their best-sellers and we’re not surprised.

They’re made from a combination of bamboo jersey fabric and organic cotton and are gloriously loose, with cuffed ends and a very forgiving wide waistband.

They cost £42.95 (around €48) and come in a cute lagoon blue but we’ll be grabbing them in the grey marl shade.

With one eye on being able to get out and about in a few months’ time, we know these joggers are something we’ll keep wearing post-pandemic.

Pair them with an oversized jumper and slippers now and dress them up with a simple white cami or button-up shirt once lockdown is done but you’re not quite ready for jeans.
