We wear clothes everyday (although a duvet day now and then is compulsory), and wearing something you love can often change your mood. In homage to the dynasty that is style, we are starting an A-Z hoping to bring you a little insider information on one of our favourite subjects. Alexander Mc Queen British fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen founded the Alexander McQueen label after leaving a position as chief designer at Givenchy. McQueen won the award for British Fashion Designer of the year four times between 1996 and 2003. Sadly, he passed away in 2010. McQueen’s long-term assistant Sarah Burton took over as creative director of the brand after his death. Lee Alexander McQueen created one of the world's most respected fashion brands Allure Allure is a women’s magazine, based in the United States. It was founded by editor-in-chief Linda Wells in 1991 and is published by Condé Nast. Many big names from the fashion pack have starred on the cover of Allure including Victoria Beckham, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen and Heidi Klum to name but a few.
