In conversation with Vogue, she explained that there are certain things best avoided when making that all-important engagement ring purchase. The first is not to think of 'the setting as an afterthought'. Cynthia says that the style of Cynthia says that the style of ring should reflect the person wearing it and when her partner chose the ring, her friend Montana Cody had some stellar advice.
"Think of the center stone as a piece of artwork and the setting as the frame".Cynthia has another tip and although it's simple, it's SO important. She urges anyone buying the ring to think of it as a timeless purchase and avoid falling into the 'trend' trap.
Don't buy something because it's fashionable at the time and instead ask if it has longevity and if you will love it as much ten years down the line. This applies whether you're choosing the ring for someone or you're going along to pick it yourself.
