We’ve all experienced the feeling of opening your wardrobe to see lots of clothes and yet somehow, absolutely nothing feels ‘right’.

Which is why we were particularly excited when we came across this New Look dress – aka: the answer to that problem.

At the moment, we’re making an effort to buy sensibly and choose pieces that we know will go with items we have already, as well as ones that will last for seasons to come.

And this New Look mini dress ticks so many boxes for us.

At €22.99, it is a total bargain – especially because it is something we know we would get so much wear out of.

And while mini dresses are mainly thought of as being more spring and summer pieces, we reckon this would look gorgeous for autumn and winter if you paired it with a big chunky cardigan and ankle boots (and tights, if it’s particularly cold with.

“Add floral flair to your style with this black mini dress. Pair with knee-high boots for stunning style,” the retailer said of the piece.

Another piece that has caught our eye lately is this cosy pink cardigan from New Look – which has been reduced to €15 in post-Christmas sales.
