The €30 New Look skirt that will be your new wardrobe must-have this spring

Now that we've (hopefully) got the warm weather back, it's time to pack away our knit jumpers and break out our midi skirts and flip flops. The midi skirt has been one of our favourite transitional pieces over the last few weeks. They're stylish. They're super flattering. They're also a great alternative when we're absolutely sick to death of wearing tights (which also makes them the perfect piece during this time of year, really - especially given the kind of weather we've been having lately). One of the ones to catch our eye recently is this €29.99 red floral-print, button-front ruffle midi skirt from New Look - which we just know is going to be be one of those pieces we'll be reaching for again and again this spring. And, really, it would last you into the summer (and early autumn, too). It is smart enough you could wear it to the office, but still casual enough that it'll do you for drinks in the evening too. The retailer recommend wearing it with "a vest and flatform sandals on sunny days." However, we reckon it would look equally as good with a pair of slide-ons and a denim jacket or a big cosy jumper thrown on top (if the weather becomes a bit cooler again). If not, how about pairing it with a cami and ankle boots - and maybe a biker-style jacket - for a night out? Either way, we know this is going to be one of those pieces that will become one of our wardrobe staples this season.
