Yeah, we’re completely obsessed with this gorgeous Penneys maxi dress and it’s easy to see why. The red and white stripes are just perfect for summer style and it’s such a timeless classic piece which means you can return to it season after season. Instead of constantly purchasing new pieces, we are trying to introduce items that work with our pre-existing wardrobes and this is one dress you’ll return to again and again. We also have to talk about the fact that it’s super comfortable and a bargain to boot. Possibly the biggest reason persuading me to purchase is the fact that maxi dresses are ideal for sorting out fashion dilemmas, they need little styling, thrown them on and you’re good to go, perfect for chilled-out summer evenings. As always, the only problem with Penneys is that we can never restrict ourselves to just one piece. Particularly as the spring-summer stock is so good this season. We adore this particular look, which featured on the Primark Instagram account earlier this week. The trousers are so versatile, wear them to the office with a crisp white shirt to keep cool during summer's humid temperatures and they work well for evening time too by adding a cami top and a pair of heels. The mint shade is oh so popular this season and they're definitely on our summer must-have list.
