The sell-out Topshop dress everyone was after last summer is back with the perfect print for fall

Last year, it seemed like everyone was talking about Topshop’s polka dot pinafore dress.

The midi-length dress was constantly sold out and became the ‘it style’ of 2018, with some people even taking to eBay in the hopes of getting their hands on it.

It was relaunched later in the year to include a colourful ’80s floral print and an animal print version – which, much like the original, sold out incredibly quickly.

And while there have been a few takes on the style so far this year – including a black ruffled version with neon flowers – Topshop’s latest version of the pinafore dress may be our favourite one yet.

The mixed pinafore dress is a vibrant red, with a paisley print down the middle panel and polka-dots on the sides.

At €68, it’s a little on the pricier side. However, we reckon it would be the perfect dress for a night out this autumn.

You could pair it with your favourite ankle boots and a biker-style jacket for date night. Or maybe with a fabulous pair of heels and a plain black clutch (or maybe a silver or gold one, if you’re looking for a bit of sparkle) for a night out with friends.

“Do the pinafore trend the bold way with this midi dress. We are totally loving this ensemble, looking elevated this season,” the retailer said of the dress.

The mixed pinafore dress was released as part of Topshop’s pre-fall 19 collection, IDOL – which also includes some other gorgeous finds, like this leopard print ruffle mini skirt.
