Ireland's top bridal boutique has been named and it looks gorgeous

There’s a billion and one wedding traditions couple can choose to follow (or not to follow) on their wedding day.

But it looks like the bride wearing white on the big day could be the next one to go – at least, for 2018.

Pinterest released their Wedding Report for 2018, where they looked at everything the brides and grooms are searching for most ahead of saying ‘I do’.

Among the many categories – including which wedding cakes people are dreaming of – was the bridal style.

Comfort is turning out to be key for brides-to-be this year – and so are colourful wedding dresses.

Proving that we really have fallen head over heels for everything millennial pink, searches rose-coloured wedding dresses are up by 46 per cent.

But it looks like it is the champagne-coloured gowns that brides are most hoping to walk the aisle in, with searches up by 358 per cent year on year.

It’s not only alternative-coloured wedding dresses that brides are turning to, either.

Searches for jumpsuits are up 178 per cent, and long-sleeve dresses are up by 75 per cent.

More and more brides are turning to high necklines and toppers like boleros when they say ‘I do’, making up 351 per cent and 163 per cent of searches respectively.

And it looks like brides are choosing to ditch the heels, with the searches for flats up by 119 per cent.

According to Pinterest, brides are also looking to “add some unexpected charm” – with searches for minimalist backdrop necklaces up by 207 per cent (just in case you want that over-the-shoulder-photo).
