The ‘Tinkerbell’ Trend That’s All Over The Red Carpet

It's FAB.

With the Oscars and BAFTAs approaching, red carpet season is in full swing.

Hair trends are having a moment of late and the latest one spotted on the red carpet is the ‘Tinkerbell’.

Similar to Tinkerbell from Disney’s Peter Pan, this style is a high bun offset by a choppy fringe.

Kendall Jenner was first with the style at the American Music Awards last year, then Perrie Edwards sported it while sightseeing in Japan and just last week Emma Watson opted for the Tinkerbell at a movie premiere in Berlin.

Getting a fringe might seem daunting and if you’re not sure this is the look for you, hairdresser Anthony Nader says you can opt for a “clip on fringe”.

Speaking to Femail, he said: “Kendall Jenner caused complete media madness when she showed up on the red carpet recently with her new fringe but, little did the world know that it was a complete fake (the fringe of course)!’ Mr Nader said.

“For those of you not wanting to sacrifice having a fringe cut in, you can easily go to a wig store and get a clip on fringe”.

Nader says a fringe made of human hair is much more superior than fake hair because it can be styled with heat and it ‘lasts forever’.

We can definitely see this look catching on…
